Probably the world's very first "weird" band, and definitely the most innovative/avant-garde of its time. France's MAGMA is just a band where words can't do justice. Just watch the live clip below. I don't even know what else to say, really. Keep in mind this is one of the more "easy-listening" songs in their catalog.
Classically trained drummer/shrieker Christian Vander and co. will be playing at the Highline Ballroom in NYC on September 20. It's worth it.
